UX Design is about both, tactic and strategy: Knowing what works, and always questioning if it should. In that sense it’s like playing Tetris: In the moment you need to know how the individual shapes best interlock — but you can only reach the high-score if you have a plan for how to structure the whole board.
Below you will find a few notable projects I created or was deeply involved in. From my role as co-founder and designer in my first start-up Knowable, to my role as product and UX lead at Grammofy, and my freelance concept and UX work with enterprises such as Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz and Deutsche Telekom.

Started as a side-project, Floffels allows customers to easily create unique monsters that can be printed on various mediums.

A data dashboarding tool that lets users dive deep into specific aspects of a data set, drill down to root causes of problems and take targeted actions to improve overall satisfaction.
Set-up as a first proof-of-concept, my role was to a) sketch out the vision and b) break it down into a managable first version with the team.
2019 - today
A tool that lets users manage the whole machine learning model lifecycle and collaborate with peers.
From figuring out the vision and initial scope to the nitty-gritty of single user interactions, this complex tool required thorough and detailed design work and stakeholder management.

A new take on the ETL – Extract, Transform, Load – tool.

2019 - today
Argus insures high data quality standards by monitoring data flows going through data warehouses.
Brought on at the inception of the project, it was all about finding the right scope for the MVP, and building out and testing the initial product based on that.
2018 - 2020
A tool suite for data scientists to help them develop new insights and a marketplace to aquire and share data offers.
I joined the team of 80+ people to facilitate and accelarate the concept and design phases. That meant workshops with project leaders, coordination of the design team, development of concepts, flows, journeys, research, ... the whole thing.
2017 - 2018
A voice based application that allows users to control various IoT applications in their home. Developed as a proof of concept.
2015 - 2020
A streaming service for classical music, loved by it's customers and praised by the press.
As co-founder and Head of Product I was deeply involved in all aspects of the product development cycle: From ideation, research, UX to development hand-over.
